Family News
Both Swati and Saumya have now moved to the new classes. Swati scored 88+% marks to secure scholar badge for yet another year. She will get a blazer too as an award for the consistent performance. They are just finishing their holidays and are about to restart their school on July 3rd.
Saumya turned 8 on July 1st 2000.
MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY.
Dear Saumya
Swati and Saumya joined Alka in Banglore to spent the last week of the holidays away for home, Naveen too joined them for the weekend from Mumbai. Swati and Saumya had a memorable stay in Banglore, where they spent their time with Gayatri and Sharanya. Also had an outing with Rajat and Vani when they visited a nearby forest reserve.
Rajat and Vani are now back to Delhi from Banglore for good. Rajat has joined an HCL Group company and Vani has joined a market research firm. We wish them success in their careers and life.
Pankaj and Puneeta Chadha have now moved to Delhi after a long stint in Calcutta. We welcome them. We also welcome their daughter Shreya, and wish her all the best in her new school. Chadhas moved into a new accomodation in DLF Qutab Enclave in Gurgaon. Their parents too have moved into Delhi from Calcutta in May 2000.
Naveen's cousin Dr Dinesh got married to Dr (Ms.) Payal on July 23rd, 2000 at Hyatt Regency, Delhi. The engagement ceremony took place on 22nd July, at Hotel Samrat. Sh. Vir Bhan and Pushpa Rakheja organised reception for the newly wedded couple on on 25th of July at Vasant Vihar Club. Dinesh and Payal are flying off to Dallas in the early hours of August 1st. We wish them a pleasant and safe journey. We also wish a very happy and long married married life to the newly weds.
Naveen's cousin Alok Verma married Neha on April 17th, 2000. We wish them happy and long married life.
Naveen's cousin Vikram Varma married Arti on April 23rd, 2000. We wish them happy and long married life too.
Anuvrat, Alka nephew, is learning to speak, has become even more naughty. He makes sure that he always has his way.
On the occasion of Rakhi, Swati and Saumya, pray for the long life and health of Paritosh and Taresh, Sahil and Anuvrat. Alka prays for the long life and health of her brothers Alok, Pankaj, Manish and Ashish.
